Harvey Shupe, 95, passed away April 22, 2021. Born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he lived in Cleveland before retiring to Punta Gorda, Florida.
Harvey served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Republic Steel as manager of real estate. Harvey was a member of Pilgrim Church in Punta Gorda, Fl. He enjoyed golfing, boating, woodworking and model trains.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Alice Shupe and his first wife, June G. Shupe; son, Scott Schupe.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Delys; daughter, Pam (Keith) Goodwin of Munroe Falls; son, Mark (Cathy) Shupe of Uniontown; brother, Howard (Melre) Shupe of North Carolina; grandchildren, Heather (Matt) Pyers, Amanda (Scott) Shenker, Nikki Goodwin; great grandson, Wesley.
Visitation will be 11:00 until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Funeral service will follow visitation at NOON at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Millar officiating.
Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron, Monday, April 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
