James “Jim” Eagon, 79, passed away June 19, 2022 after a short illness.
He was born in Akron on July 9, 1942.
Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer. He was a Mason and a member of NEOCC.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Cecil and Ann Eagon; precious baby daughter; sister, Joyce Bush; sister- in-law and brother-in-law Karen and Richard Cooper; brother-in-law, Tom Henderson.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of almost 49 years, Judith “Judy”; sons, James D. Eagon, Jr. and Brian R. (Amber) Eagon; cherished grandchildren, Eva Anderson, Samuel Eagon, Harvey Eagon; loving sisters, Kathy Eagon (Diane Fields), Janet (Roy) Drake, Linda (Bill) Lewis, Cheryl Henderson, and Peggy Kinsey; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
Private Interment service will be held.
