John M. Yelling, Jr., 64, passed away in his sleep early Monday morning on September 6, 2021.
John was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls. He met his wife, Terri of 43 years and moved to Tallmadge, where they raised their three sons. He was his three son’s greatest fan. John loved watching the Tallmadge Blue Devil’s on Friday nights. He was a diehard Browns, Buckeyes, Cavs, and Indian’s fan. He was retired from Seal Master Corporation in Kent, OH, where he spent 35 years.
Beloved son, brother, uncle, husband and father, John will be deeply missed by not only his family, but everyone he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Millie (Tomsello) Yelling, Sr.
John is survived by his loving wife, of 43 years, Terri; sons, Matthew of New Albany, OH, Nathan of Tallmadge, Justin (Emily) of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Michele (Phil) Cuyahoga Falls; brothers, Tom (Sherry), Tim (Cindy) both of Lodi, Brian (Debbie) of Ooltewah, TN; his beloved dog, Max, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Memorial Service immediately following visitation at the funeral home.
