Joshua Mergenov

It is with profound sadness that we relay the death of our beloved Joshua. He is now joyfully reunited with grandparents, Steve and Margaret Mergenov, Paul and Betty Ross; uncle, Carl Ross; cousin, Christine Lackney; best friend, Ben Pruitt; and along with many friends and relatives.

Joshua leaves his parents, Stephen and Deborah; brother, Benjamin; sister, Sarah; and much loved aunts, uncles and cousins. His beloved Auggie; good friend, Dave Patterson and many other friends to miss him and wish he were still with us.

Joshua attended St. Joseph Elementary School and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1992. He went on to graduate from Kent State University with a B.S. in Conservation in 2002.

Joshua was a kind, quiet and gentle person, but was also a little mischievous at times. He always saw the best in people and never had an unkind word.  Joshua loved the outdoors. He loved camping, snowboarding, hiking, climbing, skateboarding and fishing. He was very intelligent and creative.

Although we are suffering, we know that Joshua is free of his demons now and we will see him again. We know that God is with us, now and forever.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historical Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian burial will be 1:00 p.m. following visitation at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls.
