Maria Zastudil

Maria Zastudil, 83, passed away November 4, 2023.

Born in Uberacker, Germany, Maria had lived in the Akron area since 1960 and for the past 26 years between Ohio and Florida.  She was a member of Riverview United Methodist Church.

Marian and her husband, John loved to travel.  They visited 49 states and numerous countries.  Often visiting Marian’s hometown in Munich Germany. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Bella.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Marian is survived by her children, Cindy (Larry) Dumire of Norton, Robert Zastudil of Portage Lakes and Terry (Dave) Easterling of Brimfield; grandchildren, Mindy Tusko, Rachelle Reilly, Kelsey Zastudil, Samantha Bruno, and Karly Easterling; six great grandchildren; and sister, Rose Schlatterer of Germany.

Visitation will be 12 until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Memorial service will follow at 12:30 p.m.at the funeral home with Pastor Cary Wadle officiating.

After the service a celebration of Maria’s life will be at her home in Brimfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
