Mildred Dolores Boesiger, 94, went to be with her Lord on February 22, 2023.
Born in Zanesville, she and her husband lived in Mogadore, where they raised their family until retirement. She and her husband, Jack, spent their retirement years traveling all over the United States in their RV, and they spent their winters in Arizona. Home was always Ohio, though, and they always returned to their little cottage at Lake Milton to spend their summers. Her faith was important and Jesus was the love of her life. Dolores devoted herself to serving her Lord. Dolores was caring, kind and loving and gave the best hugs. She was quite artistic and loved painting outdoor scenes and writing stories and poems. Hiking in the national parks, water skiing, and scuba diving were some of her favorite activities.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jack; parents, Wilson and Bertha Granger, and brother, Junior.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Jack; son, James (Maria); granddaughter, Genae (Sean); great granddaughter, Madison; grandson, Shawn; nieces. Renee Hurd and Yvonne Jones; nephews, Fred Boesiger and many friends.
We want to thank Hospice and Home Instead for all the love and care that they gave to her.
Graveside services will be at 11:15 a.m., Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dolores’ name to The Haven of Rest or The Salvation Army.
