Ray L. James Jr., 64, passed away December 27, 2021. Born in Akron, he lived the past 32 years in Randolph.
Ray was a Brick Mason and a Heavy Equipment Operator for over 45 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping and loved the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and giving his famous bear hugs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Nancy James, Sr. and brother, Richard.
Ray is survived by his wife of 42 years, Eileen; daughters, Tiffany (Greg) Eichler, Tonya Charles (Raymond Rogers) both of Randolph; sons, Shawn (Stephanie) James of Randolph, Billy James of Suffield; sisters, Nellie (Jim) Spindler of Akron, brothers, Robert (Desiree) James of Streetsboro, Mark (Laurie) James of Peninsula; grandchildren, Adam, Kelsey, Kendall, Garrett, Cheyenne, Cameron, Colbie, Ellie, Jase, Zoey, Clay; grand-dog, Wesson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Memorial Service will follow visitation at the funeral home at 6:30 with Rev. Robert Webb officiating.
