Richard A. Kindig

Richard A. Kindig, 86, passed away October 8, 2023.

Born in Akron, Richard had lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 50 years and in Atwater for 16 years.  He retired in 1999 from First Merit Bank with 37 years of service.  Richard was a member of St. Peter of The Fields Church.  He enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling, woodworking and motorcycling.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Walton; brothers, James and Eugene Kindig; grandson, Benjamin Kindig.

Richard is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 66 years, Patricia; daughters, Kimberly (Roy) Fuller and Lynn (Greg) Schott both of Tallmadge; sons, Richard A. Kindig, Jr.  of Atwater and Michael Kindig of Aurora; grandchildren, Nathan Fuller of Tallmadge, Megan (Patrick) Walch of Columbus, Emiley Schott of Akron, Kayla Kindig of Cleveland, Nadia, Dylan and, Elise Kindig of Aurora; great grandchildren, Eziekel Walch and Malachi Walch, and many nieces and nephews.

Private Services were held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
