Robert P. Ripley

Robert P. Ripley, 72, passed away November 12, 2020.  Born in Akron, he lived all of his life in Tallmadge.

Robert helped his dad on his dairy farm from the 60s-70s Later turning the farm into a crop farm where many people around enjoyed coming to buy corn, potatoes, hay, straw, pumpkins and many other crops. Later in life he still helped on the farm along with owning his trucking business. He enjoyed the outdoors, oldies music and riding his 4-wheeler with his family on the farm. He enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his lawn. Robert also loved animals, including his dog, Snickers. He also loved his cars and trucks, especially his '67 Chevelle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Frances Ripley.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert J. (Alissa) Ripley and grandchildren, (Mason and Parker) Ripley of Brimfield and sister, Cheryl Rocco of Tallmadge.

Visitation will be 11:00  until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Donovan Funeral Home 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will be at 12;00 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Pete Colletti officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
