Robert David Scarlett

Robert “Bob” David Scarlett, 80, passed away March 13, 2023. Born in Danville, Illinois he lived most of his life in Ravenna, Ohio.

Bob served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a car salesman at various dealerships. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Ravenna. Bob loved spending time with his family and was a devoted husband. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, talking politics, singing karaoke with family, and was a hard-working handy man around the house.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Tobitha Scarlett; siblings Donald, Ronald, John and James Scarlett.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Lynda (married 54 years); daughters, Lissa (Kirsten) James, Lori Scarlett; sons, Matthew (Miki) Scarlett, Ryan Scarlett; siblings, Ruth Hammersley, Doris Woolsey, Deloris Camp, Becky Scarlett and brother Paul Scarlett; grandchildren, Adam, Nathan, Kyle, Kelcie, Ai, Saya, Cedar, Asher, Zaina and Hassan.

Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service will follow visitation at 12;00 p.m. with Pastor Meade officiating. There will be live streaming at www.donovanfuneralhome.com/live.

Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
