Ronald Alan Rountree

Ronald Alan Rountree, 73, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on July 12, 2022.

Born and raised in Deep Creek, Virginia, a place and community that always held a special place in his heart, Ron had lived in Mogadore, where established his family home and raised four great boys. He retired in 2010 as an Executive Director of business colleges.  Ron was a devoted member of Cornerstone Church where he selflessly served in any way he could. He spent countless hours as a visitation pastor for area nursing homes.  He enjoyed golfing, loved watching movies, telling stories, and cooking barbecue. Ron was a faithful and loving husband. He and Cheryl were married and renewed their vows in the Outer Banks, NC. As his life went on, he and his family made many wonderful memories in the Outer Banks as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gayle and Ruth Rountree; and brother, David.

Ron is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons, Ron Rountree, Norman (Julie) Rountree, Ryan (Kari) Isaly, and Brad (Heather) Isaly; grandchildren, Valentina, Seraphina, Francesca, Alayna, and Ben; brothers, Sonny Rountree and Butch Rountree; and beloved pet, their girl, Hopey.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Monday, July, 18, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home-Mogadore, 34 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore.

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
