Sheila Rose (Luke) Warnick

Sheila Rose Warnick, 59, went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2023. Sheila was born in Akron, Ohio and she spent most of her life living in the greater Akron area. She was raised in Cuyahoga Falls, and she eventually moved to Norton with her husband and two children before returning to Akron later in life.

Sheila was proud of her children, and she never missed an opportunity to tell you about her three grandchildren or to show you their picture. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as well. Sheila was a member of ABC Motorcycle Ministry, a Christian motorcycle club in Akron. During warm summer days, Sheila could be found riding around Northeast Ohio with her husband Leo on their Harley Davidson. Sheila also loved her church family at Akron Bible Church. She spent time there with church activities and volunteering whenever she could. One place where she frequently volunteered was at the Hope Café, a ministry of Akron Bible Church. While there, she was loved by volunteers and customers alike, and she earned the nickname “Coffee Lady”, which she proudly wore as a patch on her motorcycle vest.

Most of all, Sheila would want you to know about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Things were not always easy for Sheila during her lifetime, but she always turned to her hope in Jesus for her strength. Sheila spent much of her later years sharing this Faith with members of her community to help them as well. She will be missed by many.

Sheila was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo; and her parents, Robert and Clara Luke.

Sheila is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Micah) Callahan; son, Leo Warnick; and grandchildren, Colt, Carson, and Emma.

Visitation will be 10:00am until 11:30am on Saturday, January 28, 2023, with a memorial service immediately following. Both the visitation and service will be held at Akron Bible Church, 783 Brown St, Akron, OH 44311.
