Stanley H Gorney

Stanley H. Gorney, 77, passed away December 7, 2022. Born in Akron, he lived most of his life in Mogadore.

Stanley served in the National Guard and retired from Meggitt. He was a member of the Mogadore Moose. Stanley enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing with his best friend, Mike. He loved spending time with his family, especially Owen.

He was preceded by his parents, Edward and Mary Gorney; and in-laws, Charles and Helen Stickel.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Jennifer (Christopher) Brummage; son, Timothy (Ashley) Gorney; grandsons, Owen Evans and Colton, Gavin and Ashton Brummage; cousin, Edward Jebber.

Visitation will be 2:00 until 4:00 Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Suffield Fire Dept., 1256 Waterloo Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260.
