Susan Louise Getz

Susan Louise Getz, 69, passed away January 22, 2022.

Born in Akron, Sue had lived in Kentucky for 10 years and the past 25 years in Ravenna.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, cards, throwing parties, animals and especially spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Amicarelli and parents, Frank and Evelyn Rinehart.

Sue is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alfred; daughters, Sara (Ben) Vecchio of Akron, Susie (Adam) Slopek of Poland; son, Stephen Amicarelli of Ravenna; grandchildren, Travis Amicarelli, Andi Vecchio, Barrett Vecchio, and Edward Slopek; sisters, Holly Smith of Akron, Julie Rinehart of Dana Point, CA; brothers, Don (Joy) Rinehart of SC; and best friends, Linda Berlin and Regina Clark.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave., (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Paroz officiating.

Interment will be at Palmyra Township Cemetery.
