In Loving Memory of Captain Thomas Borel
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Army CPT Thomas Borel, MD., a dedicated and honorable man who served his country as an active duty Army resident physician. Tom was not only a skilled professional but also a loving father, devoted son, brother, and caring husband.
He is survived by his wife, Liana; son, Christian; parents, Ethel and Christoph; brother, David (Laura); sister, Julia (Jeff); niece, Sydney; and nephews, Harrison and Bennett; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
During his years of service, Tom exemplified the true spirit of dedication, compassion, and selflessness. He touched the lives of many with his healing hands and kind heart and smile, leaving an indelible mark on his colleagues, patients, and community.
Tom's legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, the lessons he imparted, and the love he shared. In this time of sorrow, let us remember and celebrate the remarkable life of a brave soldier, a skilled healer, a cherished father, a dutiful son, and a devoted husband. May he rest in peace, his memory cherished by all who were privileged to know him. Always stay humble and kind.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday October 19, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Randolph, 2643 Waterloo Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260
Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Procession to form at the church.
