Thomas Alan Dannemiller, 67, passed away August 11, 2023.
Born in Akron, Tom had lived all of his life in the Tallmadge, Stow and Munroe Falls area. He retired in 2018 from Kidron, Inc. and VT Hackney with over 30 years of service.
Tom was an Ohio sports fan and could often be found cheering on the Browns, Indians, Cavs and THE Ohio State Buckeyes, he also enjoyed a nice weekend nap with golf on the TV in the background. Tom enjoyed many hobbies including fishing in Canada with his family, woodworking cooking and gardening. He was especially proud of his many varieties of hot peppers which he kept growing inside year round and shared with everyone. He was also an avid collector of coins, sports cards amongst other things. Tom loved to listen to music, especially Classic Rock & Blues and was a huge fan of Blues guitarist, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Dannemiller and brother, Joseph Dannemiller; and beloved dog Lucy.
Tom is survived by his mother, Beverly; daughters, Becky(Mark)Strait and Syndie (Corey) Hite; son, Beau (Kayla); grandchildren, Ryleigh and Declan Hite; Ava and Cole Strait, Noah, Ruthie, and Ruby Dannemiller; brother, Ron (Jolene); nieces and nephews, Theron, Krista, and Tracie(Dale); great nieces and nephews, Shelby, Logan, and Luke; and great great nieces and nephews, Aliyah, Aislyn and Lincoln.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August, 17, 2023 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH with Father Pete Colletti officiating.
Interment will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Doylestown. There will be no procession from the church to the cemetery but all are welcome to attend the graveside service.
