Timothy Evert Gregg

Timothy E. Gregg, 55, passed away June 16, 2022.

Born in Akron, Tim had lived in Tallmadge since 1998.  He was employed with Jordan Power as Vice President and Sales Manager for 39 years.  He was past President of Goodyear Heights Baseball League, and coached baseball and basketball in Goodyear Heights and Tallmadge. Tim refereed basketball and baseball. He was past president of Tallmadge Rotary, served on Tallmadge Board of Zoning & Appeals, and Tallmadge Hills Homeowner Association.

He raised three wonderful kids and five beautiful grandchildren.

He was a loving husband, father, and PaPa.  Tim had one of the biggest hearts and always had a smile on his face.  He had a great sense of humor and never hesitated to do anything for anyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evert and Dorothy Gregg, and father-in-law, Joseph Amedeo.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Serafina; sons, Anthony (Candice) Bell of Tallmadge, Vince (Anne) Bell of Cuyahoga Falls, and Nicholas Gregg of Akron; grandchildren, Josh, Elli, Cayden, Cora, and Gavin; sisters, Sheri Gregg of Akron and Shelley (Jeff) Gregg of Cuyahoga Falls; mother-in-law, Cleta Amedeo; sisters-in-law, Kathy Amedeo, Mary Haggerty, Katrina Amedeo; brothers-in-law, Todd Jordan, John Haggerty, Joe Amedeo, and many nieces, nephews, family, friends; and his crazy dog Elsa.

Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Baker officiating.

Interment will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
