William O. Combs

William O.Combs, Jr., "Jammer's Dad", 75, passed away August 3, 2022. Born in Elkins, West Virginia, he lived most of his life in Mogadore. He was greeted in Heaven by his son, Michael, who passed before him on February 16, 2015.

William served in the U.S. Army and had worked at the U.S. Post Office as a manager.  He enjoyed watching Ohio State football, watching movies, and being on his computer. He absolutely loved his dogs, Alice & Cooper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Ollie; brothers, Tony, John, and Dennis; and sisters, Judy and Barbara.

William is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon; daughter, Helen (Jeff); sisters, Susie (Larry) and Diana; brother, Rick; and many nieces, nephews, and friends he held dear to his heart.

Our "Meatball" and Warrior loved his Ohio State Buckeyes - his wife and daughter would love it if you wore your favorite team apparel to honor him at his calling hours.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday August 7, 2022 at Donovan Funeral Home – Mogadore, 34 S. Cleveland Ave.

Celebration of Life will follow visitation at 3 p.m.

Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Mogadore Music Department.
