Carol J (Wagner) Morgan

Carol J. Morgan, 77, passed away unexpectedly September 13, 2016.  Born in Akron, she lived most of her life in Tallmadge.

Carol retired in 1999 as an Art Teacher with Springfield Schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, OEA, NEA and Springfield Local Asso. She was the recipient of many teaching awards including, 1998 Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers award.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, George; daughters, Chris (Tom) Rogers of St. Petersburg, Fl, Suzy (Adam) Rodatt of Sagamore Hills; son, Kevin (Diane) Morgan of Boynton Beach, Fl; grandchildren, Tim and Tyler Rogers, Alison, Marisa and Andrew Rodatt; sister, Dee Wagner of Cuyahoga Falls; brother in law, Sheridan Morgan of Garretsville; sister in law, Greta Morgan of Hudson; lifelong friends, Nancy and Chuck Weiss of Tallmadge, Pat and Floyd Nissel of Green; Maryann Smith of Akron; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave, Tallmadge with Rev. Michael Matusz officiating. PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH.

Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
