I today found an old harddrive with some old emails that I sent with friends 20 years ago. I found emails sent with one of my best computer game friends in Everquest, Thomas A Haydn. I was very happy to find this until I googled and found this page. It's with a sad heart I realize Thomas, (Brega) is no longer in life. We had lots of fun together even though we never met in person. I have over the years sometimes wondered how Thomas was doing but did not have his real name to be able to make contact, until today. I want to extend my deepest condolences to Thomas family and I want you to know he was very appreciated by me and many others in Everquest.

Sincerely, Lars Hellström (a.k.a Iwar of Vallon Zek)

PS To Thomas son that also played EQ, I remember you! You fantastic PK:er ;-) DS

I am so sorry to hear of Haydn's passing. He and I had many conversations on a sports message board. I never met him but always respected what we he had to say. He was always a gentleman, always nice and level headed. Wish I could have met him in person.

My sincere condolences. I met Haydn in 6th grade, and he was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He reached out to me shortly after 9-11, which happened to be two weeks after our class reunion. I was in WTC 2, and he checked in by email to see how I was doing. I had not talked to him since HS, and I feel very honored to have heard from him and thanked him for his service. Haydn always had a smile and conversation for everyone, and he will truly be missed by all of us. Peace and blessings. Nancy J.

My heart is heavy as I just heard of the passing of Haydn. I have many fond memories and could always count on several hours of enticing conversation on Friday nights. Whether at home games or riding together to several away games, I always looked forward to our talks. I pray for Haydn as he is at peace and I pray for his family as they navigate this difficult time. Thank you Haydn for being my friend.

I spent the first 12 years of my life living next door to Haydn and Gwynn. Haydn was my best friend (we were only 2 months apart in age). My childhood was exactly like they make it look in the movies. We spent summers riding our bikes on the dirt road behind our houses, playing kickball, climbing the treehouse in Haydn's backyard that his Dad built. Winters of snowball fights, fighting at the bus stop for our place in line, dragging the sleds through the woods to the pond for ice skating. I am so sorry to learn that he is no longer here. I am sure he was a great defender of our country, husband, and father to his children.
Gwynn, please give my love and condolences to your Mother. My Mom sends her best wishes as well to you both. I feel as though a piece of my childhood is gone.
